Villa Arnica

A villa from another era, wrapped in gardens, parquet shimmer and sun-drenched calm.
A place for slow mornings, cool water and scenes that feel straight from the 1960s.

From one of the beautiful suites, we look down at the garden through the gently swaying curtains only to find ourself in a film set from the 1960s. Villa Arnica, with its enchanting garden, is a real-life daydream.

Parquet, terrazzo and time-worn elegance

Villa Arnica

Cinematic summer

The suites are true gems. The sunlight makes the herringbone parquet flooring and polished terrazzo shimmer. What grows in the garden is served on the plates. Between palm trees, oleanders and pomegranate trees, some scenes feel like they are in slow motion.

The French romantic duo Alain and Romy would have felt right at home here. How about dinner at 1477 Reichhalter? Yes, please!

In the poolhouse, you can enjoy breakfast in the morning and refresh your body and soul in the cool water or during yoga in the glasshouse. In the Salotto, you can put on records or browse through Slim Aarons photography books.

Villa Arnica

The art of taking it slow

A footpath connects the Hotel Schwarzschmied with the Villa Arnica. Through the gate, you enter another world – an adults-only oasis.

At the risk of this piece becoming gushy, let’s just cut to the chase and start it that way. From one of the beautiful suites, we look down at the garden through the gently swaying curtains only to find ourself in a film set from the 1960s. Villa Arnica, with its enchanting garden, is a real-life daydream.

Between palms, pomegranates and old-world charm, this villa moves in its own gentle rhythm. Suites, poolhouse and garden life unfold like a quiet, sunlit film. We sink into a book beneath yellow-striped umbrellas and simply enjoy the scene.
