Lindauer Hütte
The shortest route, almost flat and easily accessible, leads from the Golmerbahn mountain station to the Lindauer Hütte. The total walking time is about two hours.

The Lindauer Hütte is located 1,744 metres above sea level on the expansive valley floor, with the mystical pale limestone rock formation of the Drei Türme rising into the sky in the background.

Studio Kreft’s architects gave the hut its striking new identity in 2016. Its bold design contrasts with the surrounding nature and radiates the home-like warmth that attracts travellers to this magnificent hiking, climbing and skiing region. Once the lodge’s three roofs are tucked under a protective blanket of snow for the winter, you can rent a sledge for your descent into the valley.
Silvia and Manfred Sprung know their way around the region, help plan tours and provide their guests with everything they need to be comfortable. This includes the Finnish sauna, which does a world of good after a day in the fresh mountain air, and the excellent mountain cuisine, which indulges your body and soul.

When you’re tucked cosily under your chequered duvet cover at night, you’ll still be dreaming about the Spinatknödel (spinach bread dumplings) and the fluffy Kaiserschmarrn (torn pancake dish).

The location
From the forest parking lot, you can continue on foot or by mountain cab. The inn is located in a place that successfully avoids car traffic.
